Bio – Kim Gallo

Meet Kim Gallo, a passionate and accomplished Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to helping neurodivergent children and young adults thrive. Kim’s journey began in the late ’90s with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and experience working with toddlers diagnosed with autism, which led her to pursue Board Certification as an Associate Behavior Analyst. After earning her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2004, Kim gained her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and worked across early intervention, K-12 schools, and private practice.

As a parent to a neurodivergent young adult, Kim combines professional expertise with personal understanding, advocating for neurodivergent individuals and helping families navigate communication challenges. The landscape of care for neurodivergent youth and their families has evolved significantly since Kim began her practice, with a growing emphasis on listening to autistic voices, considering sensory systems, and understanding the broader concepts of neurodiversity. This progressive approach ensures more individualized, effective care tailored to each child’s unique needs. In addition to her work, she is also an author and podcast guest, engaging in conversations on neurodiversity and communication.

Client and Colleague Feedback

"We are enough, just as we are—our kids are mirrors of our own healing, reflecting the greatness and power already within us."
